Occasionally when installing a fresh copy of Windows 10, you may get to the screen for selecting the storage partition in which you want to install Windows and nothing will be there:

Specifically on Dell Latitude laptops, this may be caused by the "Operating Mode" of the storage device controller being set to RAID. By default, Windows 10 installation package doesn't have drivers to recognise this which is why the storage device (usually an NVMe drive) will show in the BIOS but not in disk management or the windows installation storage selection screen.

To resolve this, navigate to the BIOS (F2 for Dell), select the "Storage" tab, and change the "SATA/NVMe Operation" from "RAID On" to "ACHI/NVMe".

Save changes and exit out of BIOS, boot from external storage and you should see the storage device show up in the installation screen.
