Before using ANY imaging system to backup and recover a HDD 

MAKE SURE you disable BitLocker (if any in place) - or get the key and store it on a thumb drive if you don't want to disable it

and VERY IMPORTANT to run this command in CMD to allow windows to boot from NVMe


open CMD in with admin rights then type the below command

sc.exe config stornvme start= boot

and press enter


it should look like this:

once you have done the command and checked for bitlocker then you can proceed with backing up
