Hi Service Desk,

Kindly note that we changed the LTO6 Tape Library with an single tape drive of LTO8 which was previously attached to Pr-gb-backup-02. This means that we currently have 2x Single Tape drives in the Liverpool office now.

These tape drives are for the Veeam backups which are on PR-GB-BACKUP-01 (10.101.3.41) whilst the other is for the BackupExec Backups which are on PR-GB-BACKUP-02 (10.101.3.159).

Now it is of utmost importance that these LTO8 tapes are labelled correctly. The label needs to be on the tape itself and NOT on the case!

The labels should be in the following format for the monthly:

Veeam – PR-GB-BACKUP-01 – FEB 2021

BackupExec – PR-GB-BACKUP-02 – FEB 2021

Whilst they should be in the following format for the weekly:

Veeam – PR-GB-BACKUP-01 – FEB WEEK 1

BackupExec – PR-GB-BACKUP-02 – FEB WEEK 1

The tape drives are located as per the attached picture below. If someone can label them, that would be appreciated.
