Solution – When users are reporting that Q&A and SunSystems is running slow
Hi Nikolai
Q&A is working but it's very slow, so a performance issue. As this is affecting all users and both Q&A and SunSystems I would advise the following.
Clear all Q&A users - some users have up to 10 sessions running.
To do this logon to Q&A Setup and go to User Security and right-click on the list of users and select 'Clear All Users'.
Ideally Connect to Either Amanda Wightman or Charles Hill’s PC to logon to Q&A Setup
Clear all users in SunSystems
To do this logon to SunSystems ( Credentials: Username: SecurityAdmin – Password: SSSAdm1n ) User Manager on the application server (10.101.3.99) and go to Settings > SunSystems > Operator Activity > on the window that pops up you will see the below. Without selecting an operator code, click the 'Clear' button. This will clear all users out of SunSystems.
After clearing all users out of Q&A and SunSystems as described above.
- Reboot SQL server (10.101.3.224) and wait for it to come back up.
- Reboot the SunSystems application server (10.101.3.99)
Now ask Charles to test SunSystems and the aged creditor report.
