1. Login into 10.107.1.100 using your admin.surname   ( for outside Liverpool office you must be on VPN)
  2. Launch Active Directory Users and Computers.
  3. Go to sibglobal.local>Applications>OurSolution>Users
  4. Right-click an existing user you can copy and click copy.
  5. Fill in First name, Last name and User logon name. Click Next.
  6. Password must meet the following complexity requirements:
    • Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
    • Be at least six characters in length
    • Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
  7.           English uppercase characters (A through Z)

              English lowercase characters (a through z)

              Base 10 digits (0 through 9)

              Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

  8. Assign a complex password (e.g. Stanleybet19!). Make a note of it. Untick Password never expires.  Click Next.


  9. Click Finish.


  10. Right click the user you have just created. Click Properties.

  11. On General tab, type the user’s email account. Click Apply.Please note, this is NOT an OPTIONAL step. ( it is optional for ADMIN users)
  12. On Organization tab, add the user’s Department. Click Apply.


  13. Click Member of tab. Write memberships on checksheet. Click OK.
